Adobe Photoshop CS4: Student Edition-Silrance

Okay guys! So I finally got Adobe Photoshop!

Of course, since it is the student edition I have to provide proof that I am, in fact, a student x.x

But no worries! Proof has been provided and I should be receiving my code to unlock the full version of Photoshop within 2 days!

Alright, at the moment, all I have is the 30-day trial version... still, I can use it fully.

I was just wondering, to anyone who knows how to use this program and does so regularly, such as Silrance, can you tell me how you get started on painting your work?

Being a novice to this whole thing, I have absolutely no idea x.x

Please help!
